[4.6.3-op24] Known bugs

Read again, it is not openwrt it is not gl inet. It is adguard home, 3rd party. YOU decide to update adguard home and risky doing. Gl inet set default no update and made modified adguard home.

Yes, it's 0.107.46
It has a security issue.

There is no reason to choose this version for all gl-iNet customers.

By the way, read the topic again:

  • Are you testing the Firmware 4.6.3-op24 RC?
  • If so, did you notice any bug?

From who? Adguard home yes, not gl inet.

Chosed stable old version Adguard home which not issues. Full stop.

No, but does not matter with Adguard Home versions with any devices (router, Mini server, pc, etc)

Absolute not. But I knew adguard home has changed in config.yaml paraments than old version.

It's a local DNS resolver. Even if there might be a security issue, it's not a big thing. So, might be a security issue but not like "we all gonna die"

This is true, it seems the exploit is only for local no remote bufferoverflow exploit or something.

If you really untrust certain devices just block the web portal for those but i highly doubt these devices going to do that, first they are not aware of the adguardhome site but gl portal, and maybe nginx also reverse proxy it so they have to go after nginx first, but i'm not entirely sure about that.

Anyhow the exploit was about http2 not closing socket properly which enable a attacker to exploit something.

Two users reporting the same issue with address reservations:

Hi there, I'm having again a very poor WiFi coverage/speed after upgrading from 4.6.2-op24 to 4.6.3-op24, especially 5GHz WiFi. 2.4GHz looks impacted also but less than 5GHz.

The country code or the power level changed between each version?

GL-iNet admin panel --> System --> advanced settings -- LuCi

Then:
https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/network/wifi/wifi_countrycode

Thanks didn't notice that changed DE to FR, much better! Is WiFi so restrictive in Germany?

At least for the transmit power, yep.

Do we still need to change the country code? Mine was DE (I'm from IT) Thanks.
