I’m hesitant to upgrade to 4.8.4 stable due to current discussions. In release note it states mainly bug fixes. Question, were security patches rolled into this update too? I notice the last security updates identified were 4.7.4 stable in April of 2025.
Believe it or not, I've been using the 4.8.4 snapshot for months now, and I find it much better than 4.8.3 or earlier 4.8.x versions. I haven't had any problems.
Maybe I'll switch back to the stable release soon, I don't know.
