I notice that GL-A1300 ‘Slate Plus’ is still stuck on 4.5.x, and the 4.7.x beta - released December 2024 - is older than the 4.5.x stable release. Is this device going to see more firmware updates, and if so what’s the timeframe?

The A1300/Slate Plus will also update the firmware, which will be released before the end of the year.

I would like to extend that question regarding the overall firmware support plan.
Any estimates regarding 4.7.x stable?
Will there be also a 4.8.x stable release in the future on the GL-A1300?

I have this same question. Thank you @cRoC for asking. Looking forward to an answer.
A1300 is still continuing to update firmware for now, and a new firmware v4.8 (beta) may be released before the end of the year.
The beta version will be released first.
When the testing department resources are becoming a bit free, R&D will be arranged for testing, and then it will be released stable v4.7 or v4.8.
