Acme-* packages are still using discontinued acme-v01 api

My GL-SF1200 routers (running recent 3.218 firmware) cant get Let's Encrypt certificates via acme-* packages:

acme 2.7.8-3 41234 A client for issuing Letsencrypt certificates.
acme-dnsapi 2.7.8-3 45339 This package provides DNS API integration for ACME (Letsencrypt) client.
luci-app-acme 2.7.8-3 3043 Control the ACME Letsencrypt certificate interface

From logs those appear to use https://acme-v01.api.letsencrypt.org/ API endpoint, which is long gone.

Are there any plans to upgrade those packages to 3.x or further, with api v2 support?
I know for sure acme-4.x supports it, but not sure when exactly acme-v02 was introduced.
