Dear GL.iNet Customer Service Team,
I’m a user of your routers and greatly appreciate the robust VPN features your products offer. While using WireGuard VPN, I’ve encountered situations where certain networks (e.g., public Wi-Fi) restrict UDP traffic, which impacts the VPN’s functionality.
Tools like Phantun can masquerade UDP traffic as TCP to bypass such restrictions while maintaining performance. Could you please consider adding an option to WireGuard VPN (e.g., “Masquerade UDP as TCP”) similar to Phantun’s functionality? This would greatly enhance usability in restricted network environments and further strengthen the appeal of GL.iNet routers.
Thank you for your time and efforts. I look forward to your response!
