Adding OPKG Repo Fails

@ywp
Just reporting that repo’s of the new 4.3.6 release4 firmware for Mudi is not working (straight from openwrt repos?), and in fact, trying to upgrade packages with that repo will brick your device that needs a reset.

Replacing the original GL.iNet repos seems to be working fine though:
src/gz glinet_core https://fw.gl-inet.com/releases/v22.03.4/kmod-4.3.2/e750
src/gz glinet_gli_pub https://fw.gl-inet.com/releases/v22.03.4/packages-4.2/ath79/glinet
src/gz glinet_gli_packages https://fw.gl-inet.com/releases/v22.03.4/packages-4.2/ath79/packages

Thank you very much, because of my negligence, there is indeed a problem here
Which package causes bricking?

@ywp
I unfortunately forgot to get the full log before I had to reset, but from what I read on my ssh, this is what happened:
Since the distfeeds.conf repos are set to generic OpenWrt, after opkg update, it showed 33 packages for upgrade (contrary to usually around 15 when set to GLinet servers). I am not sure which package upgrades brick my device, but it encountered a lot of conflicts and error which eventually admin panel+LuCI were both down after.

src/gz openwrt_core Index of /releases/22.03.4/targets/ath79/generic/packages/
src/gz openwrt_base Index of /releases/22.03.4/packages/mips_24kc/base/
src/gz openwrt_luci Index of /releases/22.03.4/packages/mips_24kc/luci/
src/gz openwrt_packages Index of /releases/22.03.4/packages/mips_24kc/packages/
src/gz openwrt_routing Index of /releases/22.03.4/packages/mips_24kc/routing/
src/gz openwrt_telephony Index of /releases/22.03.4/packages/mips_24kc/telephony/
src/gz openwrt_gl_feed_common https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/22.03.4/packages/mips_24kc/gl_feed_common
src/gz openwrt_gl_feeds_22_03 https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/22.03.4/packages/mips_24kc/gl_feeds_22_03
src/gz openwrt_glinet https://downloads.openwrt.org/releases/22.03.4/packages/mips_24kc/glinet

by the way, the last 3 links (i.e. gl_feed_common, gl_feed_22_03, and openwrt_glinet) are down from the host as the links don’t exist (at least, not yet?), but does it mean gl.inet will be moving the repos’ hosting to OpenWrt?

and after setting disfeeds.conf to glinet host, everything seems to be working just fine:
src/gz glinet_core https://fw.gl-inet.com/releases/v22.03.4/kmod-4.3.2/e750
src/gz glinet_gli_pub https://fw.gl-inet.com/releases/v22.03.4/packages-4.2/ath79/glinet
src/gz glinet_gli_packages https://fw.gl-inet.com/releases/v22.03.4/packages-4.2/ath79/packages

@ywp
Also, any idea as to why 4.3.6 stable firmware of X750 was taken down from the server?

No, this is a bug, I forgot to modify the path here

Because some users have set up automatic upgrades in 3.0, upgrading from 3.0 to 4.0 will cause most configurations to become invalid, so 4.0 will not be actively pushed, but manually upgraded by users themselves

@ywp
Sounds good, but where is the download link?
It’s not available in the server:
https://dl.gl-inet.com/?model=x750

Currently there is a version v4.3.7 on the server

@ywp
Hello, is there the final build v4.3.7 for GL-X750?
the release4 was taken off the server recently, and still waiting for the stable build of OpenWrt 22.03 for X750.
Thanks

This is basically the final version. The bugs fixed by release5 will not change much.
