Since yesterday out of nowhere my internet behind the Beryl AX wasn’t working anymore.
After some researching found out that Adguard is the problem. When I disable adguard, everything is working as expected.
When i enable Adguard again, i keeps loading when going to :3000.
I didn’t make any changes to adguard in over a month.
Can someone help me? Worst case i need to reset adguard.
Also upgrading to 4.7.4 beta doesn’t work, don’t know why. Router keeps coming back with firmware 4.7.0 release 3.
Flash it with latest Stable firmware 4.7.0, via UBoot.
You can also try Openwrt 24 firmware 4.7.0-op24, flash it via UBoot.
Adguard is dodgy if you leave it alone or select too many protections. Even on pc and mobile it locks up now and then but if you force it to stop running, clear it's cache and restart it then it should work again. On routers it's probably best just to leave the basic functions selected because the more you have the more likely that Adguard will misbehave.
If the upgrade does not work, a full reset is the fastest way to get back into a stable configuration.

So I managed to sort both things out.
First of all, I managed to update to 4.7.4. I disabled repeater mode, disabled vpn to get the router as minimal as possible. After that I tried upgrading and this fixed it. Now I am on 4.7.4
So after the upgrade I tried enabling AdGuard again, let it update all lists and after that fully enabled AdGuard, and now everything is working as expected again.
The only thing is, I still don’t know what caused the issues, but I will monitor it.
So more then 20 days further, now exactly the same thing occurred….
It is driving me mad now. Router is starting, AdGuard is saying starting up when I open the AdGuard dedicated page. Keeps saying it for a few minutes.
When I return to the page after a few minutes is doesn’t load anymore at all.
What to do…?
