I have 2 different Brume 2 that are setup as VPN servers using WireGuard. I have 3 devices that are configured as VPN clients. Each of the clients have connections to both servers. VPNs didn't connect. They have previously.
I was able to connect to all devices via GoodCloud earlier today using Remote GUI. I generated new client config files and tried to connect - they are stuck at connecting and won't go any further. "The client is starting, please wait..." is the message. I have no internet when this is going on. I turn it back off and I can connect to the Internet. Not an Internet issue right now.
However, I have since gone back into GoodCloud to connect to the other devices and all have faded out and are saying online. I can remote into other devices via AnyDesk and see that the boxes are all connected. GoodCloud just doesn't see them. (2 of the 5 are now "online" - 1 server, 1 client) but they are still unable to connect to each other.
I have rebooted the ones locally. I have had the ones remotely rebooted along with the modems that are attached to them. I have generated new config files for each client and tried them but they are not connecting. Ports are set to the default - 51820. The port forwarding on the server side is still set up the same as it was yesterday when it worked. I have even reset one of the local client Brume device and completely reset it up including adding it to GoodCloud again. No luck. I can SSH into each device that shows up online via GoodCloud.
I have disabled and re-enabled GoodCloud. I did click "Re-activate" in the message but it gives me the same error. I have also removed it and re-added the device in GoodCloud.
Something seems to be odd. You should try to get the internet connection stable again before further investigating. Maybe VPN is an issue, or DNS or whatever you changed before it starts to act weird.
I hadn't changed anything prior to it acting up. When the VPN client is off on this computer, I can connect anywhere. I use 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 as my DNS.
