Allow OpenVPN Server Access to upper Nat

Hi, I setup an GL-MT300N-V2 as a VPN Server, getting the internet from my home wifi network.
The GL-MT300N-V2 is setup as a router, which is a requirement to run an OPENVPN server.

In order to access the VPN from outsite I have to open the port 1194 both on my GL-MT300N-V2 and my Main Google On-Hub Router.

Now I would like to access my harddrive and other devices from my main network from OPENVPN.

Any suggestion how I can do that?

You have to configure port forwarding to MT300N-V2 on your Google Router. If the OpenVPN tunnel is established, accessing your hard drive over OpenVPN should be work.

Hi Kyson,

Thanks for reply.

I can only see other devices on the VPN network 10.8.0.X but not the one from my main router lan 192.168.86.X.

Thanks,
Eduardo

To avoid data leak. It has disabled the data forward to WAN from LAN. In your case, you have to enable LAN forward to WAN.
