Alternate Power Supply for Beryl AX (GL-MT3000)

I recently purchased a Bery AX router and I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to use a xiaomi 65w PD gan charger, and it does not power the router. I've tried different cables with the same result. Oddly, if i plug and unplug the router repeatedly, sometimes it seems to work, about 1/10 the time. When it negotiates power, it works perfectly fine.

Please check the charger specs attachment.

Do your routers include the 5.1k pull down resistors on the cc pin?

I will let engineers to have a check of technical things.

Maybe we can just get one power adapter that works correctly with the router in our product line.

Just an update, MT3000's power design does cause this problem. So you may need to re-plug the router several times.

I have successfully used these two USB-PD bricks with Beryl AX:

  • Ugreen CD318 Nexode - US - 20W - [5V 3A; 9V 2.2A; 12V 1.7A; PPS] - Amazon US
  • Spigen PE2009UJ ArcStation Pro - US - 20W - [5V 3A; 9V 2.2A] - Amazon US
