Ambiguous text in “All targets” explanation

Hi folks,

I feel like the text under “All targets” could be made clearer.

It currently says: “Traffic to all destinations is allowed through the current tunnel.”

What I mean is, its not clear that all traffic will go through the current tunnel, only that it is allowed to do so.

Many things in life could be allowed, but that does not necessarily mean that its going to be utilized. I hope I am making myself clear.

Has the wording been made ambiguous here for a reason? As a VPN-beginner, I feel like the wording could be more reassuring (ie. dont worry, all traffic is going through this tunnel), but I would understand if there is an underlying reason im missing here…

All the best guys, loving my router thus far.

The reason is probably that the rules are processed from top to bottom. If no kill switch is set for a rule, the corresponding traffic can skip to the next rule - f.e. if the tunnel isn't available. It is therefore allowed there, but does not necessarily have to take this path - depending on the configuration.
