AR 750S EXT How to wire the router to my Video Player?

Goal: provide a wifi connection to my VideoDisk player by repeating my 5g wifi to the LAN connection on the video player.

I have it listening to a 5g wifi and running.
Plugging a cable from the router’s WAN port to the Video player’s LAN port leaves the video player saying Network not connected.

There is an ambiguity whether to use the router as a LAN or a WAN.

The undocumented Mode button is set to the right.

What am I missing?

Repeater section on the Internet panel says I am connected. There are several combinations to explore:

Mode switch right, cable in WAN, use as WAN
Mode switch left, cable in WAN, use as WAN
Mode switch right, cable in LAN, use as WAN
Mode switch left, cable in LAN, use as WAN
then repeat the above for “use as LAN”

I’ve cycled several of those and the video player is still not connected; no signal to its LAN port from the router.

Thoughts?

Which model of your Video player? Does it has LAN port and WAN port?
