AR300 worse repeater than MT300

Have both the yellow MT and Black external antenna AR. The MT has better repeater range than the AR external antenna one!

Is there something I need to do in order to make the external antennas operational or something?

Doesn't make sense to me that the AR is worse than the MT. Both are running the same firmware, dated 2024-06-07.

Just tighten the interfaces.

How to know the repeater range in your opinion?

Please test them with same primary Wi-Fi, same power supply, in same location. Take a screenshot of the Luci -> Network -> Wireless for the repeater interface (client) for these 2 models, like this:
