AR300m-ext default password

Powered up router for first time. Got green and red lights. Found router on laptop via wifi. Entered default password “goodlife” . It connects but with no internet. Why?

Opened chrome on my home wifi. entered http:192.168.8.1 and it won’t connect. says its taking too long.

Please reply in “easy to understand” as I am not that computer literate.

Try firefox - chrome is having issues with non-HTTPS URL’s…
