AR300M uboot failure

I recently tried to update the NAND on my AR300M. I had a very old version of uboot, so connected a serial cable to a raspberrypi and was able to flash uboot from uboot-for-qca95xx/bin at master · gl-inet/uboot-for-qca95xx · GitHub via tftp. I then was able to update the NAND version via the uboot page at 192.168.1.1. However I used an old version of the NAND image, so then I went into the admin page and tried the latest from GL.iNet download center
However now the router does not boot.
Connecting to the serial port it stops at

O-Boot 1.1.4-gf8f77125-dirty (Sat Aug 14 08:53:11 UTC 2021)

. . .

128MB
Flash Manuf Id 0xef, DeviceId0 0x40, DeviceId1 0x18
Flash size 16MB, sector count = 256
Power up PLL with outdev = 0 then switch to 3

It stops after this. I tried power cycling it lots of times, with the switch in different positions, and the button pressed and not pressed. Always stops at this message.
Any idea whats wrong or how to get it to boot further?

Hi,

May I know if the router can be entered the uboot mode?
If yes, please flash the firmware again.

It seems that the router system can be started, so the uboot should be no issue.
