I power up the router and wait until I se the AR750-xxx SSID. When I connect to it using the default password it comes up the disconnects before I can get a connection on 192.168.8.1. What up with this?
Do you mean the default password is rejected or you can connect the it disconnects quickly?
Does the router still on? I.e. if the LEDs still up?
Generally the problem of the later problem is that you cannot get IP for some reason.
