AriaNg and Aria2 Setup Issue

Need Help

Has anyone here successfully set up AriaNg and Aria2? I followed instructions with the help of ChatGPT, and everything installed properly — even the AriaNg web interface loads fine.

However, when I try to download something, it starts connecting, then gets disconnected, and the loop keeps happening. It initially connects, but as soon as I add a download task, it goes into this connecting-then-disconnected loop.

Also, I have a 4TB external hard drive with two partitions — one is exFAT and the other is NTFS. I want all the downloads to go to either of them (doesn't matter which one), but I’m not sure if that’s causing any issue. The Router Gl.inet Slate AX

Any ideas on what might be wrong? I'd really appreciate your help!

with aria you need to make sure the rpc of the web page matches with the port defined on the server.

It is the rpc port which opens the view/session.

this is if you only speak about the green notification on the top right.

It is a bit hidden, but there is a grey looking text with rpc that gives you the options for the client.

Otherwise it sound like it may has permission issues or ownership issues.

Unfortunately i never got it to work on openwrt, but i did on a nuc and susprisingly it was just a webpage which i could upload to a existing web server, but i found aria did miss a few features like extension blacklisting, i went with qtorrent instead.
