ATX Board doesn't work

Yes it does

Can you try disconnecting the case’s POWER SW and test again?

That didn’t seem to do anything. I also tried it the other way around. I do have a multimeter, though I don’t really know how to use it that well haha.

This ATX board might be faulty. Please contact our CS team [email protected], cite this thread, order number, purchase channel. We will offer you a replacement and please send this faulty one to us for analysis.

I am having the same issue. is this a normal thing with this product? What is interesting is that the passthrough seems to work without issue as I am able to power the board using the button, but it will not work through the comet.

Could you please confirm that the connection is corrrect. The ATX board should also connect to Comet's usb port.

Please execute atxpower /dev/ttyACM0 click_power_short in Terminal and offer us with the outcome?
If still not work, try reversing the polarity of POWER SW (The pins that connect to the motherboard )

Thank you for replying. Got home and tried the solution, and it worked. Weird that I was able to still reset and turn it on using the buttons on the front panel. Question how do I check the firmware on the board and how do i flash it (if it ever needs to be).

In short term, The firmware for accessories typically does not receive updates.
The upgrade option is merely a safeguard. If an upgrade becomes necessary later, it can be performed locally via KVM.

Reversing the polarity fixed the issue for me as well

Hi,

I have the same issue too. Just got my ATX board today ordered together with Comet Pro (GL-RM10) from the kickstarter. Comet Pro works fine, but the ATX controller from GUi doesn’t work no matter how I change the pins. The only thing that works is the reset button. But shutdown doesn’t work, neither short or long press.
Physical power button works perfectly though.

What else can I try?

Hi, sorry for late reply.

Samme issue after terminal input that says “success”

bash-5.2# atxpower /dev/ttyACM0 click_power_short
success
bash-5.2#

Also after switching polarity of POWER SW again. I’ve tried this now maybe 10 times with no success.

Restart is the only only that seems to work, but only when the server is started of course.

Physical ON/Off works normally.

Could you pls show a pic of your connetions?
