I was looking to buy a AXT1800 as it's on sale. I wanted to know, is the 512GB SD Card a hard limit or can you use a 1TB SD in there?
With a SD card, can you setup Samba share to it? I was thinking of using it to share files while on holiday with the family and also somewhere to backup phones at the end of the day.
I think that it's a software limit, more than a hardware limit (there are very few 1 TB cards on the market currently).

Yes, it's easy. Just use the GUI.
I received the AXT1800 and can confirm you can setup the Samba on the SD Card which is great. I was able to stream directly from the share without any lag.
