B1300 - 2.4G and 5G Networks Combine

Hello all.

I have a question about the way clients connect to the B1300 Mesh network. Since the 2.4G and 5G are combined into 1 SID, if a client is capable of both 2.4G and 5G, how does it decide which to connect to? I’ve always been used to having separate SIDs for the different frequencies and I was the one to choose which frequency they connected to.

It is your phone to decide which to connect. It will try to find the best signal to connect. But as long as it connect to one it will try to remain the connection.
