I am wondering if the B1300 can have the clean firmware version upgraded to the latest OpenWrt with the driver supporting WPA3 and dynamic VLAN with radius.
The B1300 closed source drivers can only run on the old OpenWRT 15, due to the fact that they use Qualcomm’s QSDK which is stuck on that version.
There are way too many changes needed to backport features from OpenWRT 19 to make WPA3 work, it’s just not feasable.
The only options you have are to use Vanilla OpenWRT 19 with WPA3, but loose Mesh and some performance, or stay on QSDK.
