Hello I have a B1300 running openWRT and would like to install the gl.inet firmware, I followed the debrick page but during the flashing it fails and lose connection to the router, should I change/upgrade the uboot?

You should not touch uBoot. Only if GL.iNet staff tell you to do so.
The firmware can be downloaded at GL.iNet download center …
The uBoot process contains to download the firmware (in your case download it again, maybe one previous version), connect to the router and start the upgrade … but the process is numb and after successful upgrade you need to go back to you system and switch back to DHCP, to get a 192.168.8.x address and r auch the router at 192.168.8.1 … sometimes this step is a little confusing and it seems like a failed process.
Else a little more information would be helpful at which step it failed and what the system says as response.
It always fails in teh middle of flashing and the of flasing does gray “can’t connect”. After that it always comes back to openwrt.
If the upload does not shows an error, the afterwards process should be fully automatic.
I don'town a B1300, so I don't know how long the flash takes. But I think when the website shows the error, just let the device powered.
Set your computer to DHCP and start a DHCP request every now and then. 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 45 minutes…
And if after 1 hour there is still no DHCP. I am totally wrong.
I tried that but it did not work, if I remember correct some gl.inet need diffrent uboot for openwrt and gl.inet forked firmware. As was the case for the S1300, and the B1300 seems to have the same chip.

When you installed the vanilla OpenWrt firmware, did you also flash the OpenWrt U-Boot?
If so, you'll need to switch back to our GL.iNet U-Boot before you can successfully install the GL.iNet firmware again.

Yes, I tried flashing it but it runs into the same error as flashing the firmware…what can I be doing wrong? I followed this guide: What should I do if my router is bricked - GL.iNet Router Docs 4
