@oorweeg pfff no idea - i mean it seems we have similar ish setups so i honestly dont know what else to test either. Thanks for all the effort tho i very much appreciate it.
@lucas2 Thank you so much for taking a look at this - i was not expecting gli staff to take interest.
And yes my unit has 4.8.5. I can setup a remote access - of course i will not post details in the forum but if you let me know of the configuration you would like - I guess simplest will be me just directly connecting you to 2.5g -MT3600BE - 2.5g (apart from it will have to go via the main router in this case since remote) - as well as the protocol (i,e, team viewer, wire guard, etc) i can setup this for you
Also in that respect i know time is cutting it short but i will send the unit back as defective in 2 days as it is the last of my return policy.
Don't worry, if you can provide remote environment analysis, even if a return is ultimately necessary, we can apply for an extension of the return period for you.
Hi Lucas - are you by any chance the same Lucas I am chatting with on the customer support email ?
I have not returned it yet and yes i can provide remote access if you let me know the configuration and type of remote access that works for you. Will do my best to fit it in some time but I`m also quite busy at my own job so lets see how it goes
Ok I am back - after what i could only call extremely extensive debugging i have found the issue - and it is not with the device it self nor my setup. I will try to write a comprehensive post later on this/next week so it helps anyone in the future who might have similar problems as well as Gl.Inet
On the other side - big shout out to Lucas and the Gl.Inet staff they have been incredibly supportive and taking their time to look in the problem
