Beryl AX bridge tethered connection to existing LAN

I see there is quite the thread on the GL-X3000 and bridging the cellular side to an existing LAN/router, but is the same thing possible with a GL-MT3000 (Beryl AX)?

I want to be able to plug in my cellphone or an M2 dev board into the Beryl AX and then take that cellular connection and bridge it to an existing router (Ubiquiti UDM SE) and essentially use the cellular connection as a backup WAN on my home network. I don't see any options within the Beryl AX web UI to accomplish this setup.

Anyone have any advice?

Hello,

Only the cellular router series surely supported this feature.

Just tested the Beryl AX can be switch to the Passthrough mode, but it has not been fully verified, and it is not sure whether the LAN client can receive the modem IP.

Thanks.

I'd be interested in testing this out whenever you're ready to share the details with end users. I'm sure there may be others who would be interested as well as it would make for a quick and dirty backup WAN for a complete home network.

If request is a WAN backup, why does MT3000 need modem bridge (IP passthrough)?

If have an M2 dev board, it directly connects to the GL router (MT3000) and will be recognized as a modme, which is a WAN link.

In addition, the ISP modem connects to the GL router (MT3000) and will be recognized as Ethernet, which is the second WAN link.

This is also a simple dual WAN mutual backup link. How about this?

It's to have a permanently attached WAN backup and to allow for my home's router to get the cellular IP assigned to one of it's WAN interfaces to allow my home router to continue to act as the router.
