# Beryl AX downgrades WAN port rate

Hi

Could you please confirm or provide the following:

1. What is the current firmware version of your **Beryl AX**?

2. If you connect your laptop directly to the ONU using the same Ethernet cable, what link speed is negotiated?

3. Does the situation change if you swap the WAN and LAN ports on the **Beryl AX**?

4. Please export the device logs and send them to us via private message so we can investigate further.
