I’m trying to update from v4.6.4 to v4.6.8 and it downloads, verifies, and does the install but system stay at v4.6.4. I’ve done this 6+ times with the same result.
How long have you been using this MT3000? What country in?
Have you tried to uboot debrick it? If you tried and no luck, please contact support@gl-inet.com, and cite this thread.
The mt3000 is 6 months old and is in the US. The router is not bricked and fully functional at v4.6.4 except that it does not update to the new version.
Debricking is like a "deep factory reset" and a good method to solve issues.
The OpenWrt upgrade process isn't stable all the time, so using Uboot is totally fine and recommend if there are issues while installing updates.

I just tried the install process from the web interface again and it upgraded. So closing this issue.
