I've been using the Brume 3 has a vpn server for over 6 months. Everything has been working perfectly.

A little over a week ago, my vpn connection would consistently disconnect. I initially through it was my client routers, BerlyAX and Beryl7. However after looking into the logs of my Brume 3 there seems to be a 2-3 minute disconnect happening around 10 times per day. It seems to be an issue related to the ethernet connection.

My recent Brume 3 logs say the following:

> Sun Nov 1 09:04:17 2026 daemon.notice netifd: Network device 'eth1' link is down
>

Hi, thank you for providing the logs.

To help us investigate the WAN link disconnections, could you please provide the following information and try the steps below?

1. Which devices are connected to the WAN and LAN ports of your Brume 3, and have you configured any VLANs? If possible, could you share a simple network topology diagram?
2. Did you change any network settings or replace any devices before the issue started?
3. Could you please try replacing the Ethernet cable between the Brume 3 and the upstream device and check whether the disconnections still occur?
4. If the issue occurs again, could you export the system logs and send them to us via private message?

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
