Brume losing WiFi signal when trying to connect to VPN

I bought a GL-MV1000W Brume to replace my GL-AR150 for faster wired and wireless speeds. I’m not too impressed at the moment. Both wired and wireless are a little faster. But nothing like I’ve read about. Anyway, my main concern is that I keep losing WiFi connection when trying to connect to a VPN on the iPhone App. This is pretty annoying and makes it difficult to work with. Is there a fix for the losing WiFi issue? Thanks

What is the firmware you are using?

I think this was a problem because need to restart wifi to avoid data leak.

I am using firmware 3.203.
I will try restarting WiFi.
