Bug - Toggle Button for Wi-Fi should preserve individual statuses

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Have Toggle Button in the right/on position.
  2. Set Toggle Button to Wi-Fi (Main) on Beryl 7.
  3. Enable 5GHz Wi-Fi, and disable both 2.4GHz and MLO Wi-Fi.
  4. Switch off Toggle Button, which turns off 5GHz.
  5. Switch on Toggle Button.

Result

All main Wi-Fi options were enabled (2.4GHz, 5GHz, and MLO).

Expected Result

Only what was enabled when switching off the Toggle Button should be enabled when switching it back on. In this case, only the 5GHz option should be enabled.

Sorry for the wait, we can reproduce the issue locally.

We confirmed with the engineers that this was actually expected.

Because controlling the WiFi on and off via the button controls all the main WiFi networks.

There is no logic for individually controlling multiple WiFi networks.

Thank you for the reply.

Could there instead be an option to control only a single (and/or the currently selected) Wi-Fi network?

This seems to require adding some logic. I've documented this requirement and submitted it to the product manager for evaluation to see if it can be supported.

Thank you.
