Cake not working well

I recently updated my GL-B1300 to version 3.203. I was excited to try cake since they said it’s the best but my tests kept giving me a grade B for bufferbloat no matter what percentage of my down/upload speeds I chose. I have cable from xfinity and my original speeds are 800/18. My queue discipline is cake->piece of cake, and my link layer adaptation is none(default). I tried using ethernet with per packet overhead of 44 but it did not change my results. I’m just wondering how others got an A or A+ with cake -_-

The default sqm settings do give me an A for bufferbloat. Is there something I’m forgetting to change?

B1300 comes with old kernel and should not support cake.

Maybe you can use Vanilla openwrt firmware for B1300?
