vim /etc/config/dhcp

look for the mac address corresponding to the device and add the line

option name '*NAME*', where NAME is the desired name
sample

config host '*mac-adresss*'
        option mac '*mac-adresss*'
        option ip '192.168.8.234'
        option name '*NAME*'
