Can I Setup WiFi Repeater on both bands?

I am using Repeater mode but that only allows me to connect to either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz for the network I’m trying to repeat at once. I want to connect and repeat on both bands, I understand this will half the useable bandwidth but it will result in higher actual speeds as it’s a relatively slow network. So I guess I was wondering whether or not this was possible?

First, need to know which model. Different model may have different config.

Then you have two ways:

Set up manually in Luci. You can create two sta connection of course.
Set up repeater in the default UI, copy and save the config i /etc/config/wireless. Do this for 2.4G and 5G. The manually add your saved config in /etc/config/wireless. Restart network.

I have pre-ordered the GL-AXT1800 so will be setting it up with that when it arrives in a few weeks. Do you have generic instructions on how to access and edit /etc/config/wireless?
