Just got a slate. I’m out in public and I can connect to WiFi on my phone, so, I know the signal works. I access the portal on my slate, choose repeater and search for the SSID. I find it and I can connect to it. The portal shows WiFi connected but I can’t get ANY internet to my laptop. I get a message that says I need to connect to the network before I can get internet, but it fails to load the “confirm” page that shows up automatically on my cell phone. How can I “confirm” their network terms if I can’t access the page?
I think I found the issue. I was not able to bypass the Captive Portal. I found a youtube video from GL-iNet about how to disable DNS settings to accomplish this.
