Thank you Cathy for confirmation
Noted. Thank you.
I see that usmobile is support in the thread, but when i try to load my darkstar esim to the card EIOTclub on the mudiv2 it freezes on 90% Thu Oct 30 13:57:26 2025 Debug esim: (lib/esim/ipa2.c:485) IPA_SEND_APDU invalid.resp:6982
I just purchased (maybe prematurely) a Puli AX with the EIOTCLUB card to use with my three US Mobile lines (ATT, VZW, TMO). It seems through research, these routers may not be as seamless across carriers as I assumed, being a non expert. And I do not want to give up my very affordable data plans with US Mobile for other expensive plan providers.
I intend to transfer the lines from an old iPhone SE (my current traveling hotspot) to the new router. I'm assuming I just use the router (or EIOTCLUB card?) IEMI number as the new device when I request a device transfer (option provided through US Mobile dashboard). US Mobile will issue new eSIM QR codes through email. Then those codes, once downloaded, would be uploaded through the router profile manager?
Before I open this equipment up and jeopardize the option to return it, or get caught spiraling down lengthy or expensive troubleshooting, just wanted to know if there's been any improved support for US Mobile. Any updated configurations that I need to make that will ensure these lines work after transferring?
Thanks
Please check these docs, they will explain what you need: eSIM Management - GL.iNet Router Docs 4
Thanks for the suggestion but I've already read through the GL.inet docs. It doesn’t address carrier specific configurations. I’m asking about progress made recently to support US Mobile better.
I hope Holafly gets fixed. I’ve heard great things about it. And it has unlimited data unlike many other eSIMs.
It’s supported on the SIMPoYo card; I had the same issue as you with the EIOTclub version.
So using the SIMPoYo card you were able to read in a Darkstar QR?
Did you generate the new eSIM using the "Change Device" option in the dashboard? Curious what I will need to do to transfer the existing Darkstar line from my iPhone SE to the Puli AX.
That was a Charlie Foxtrot. I transferred my US Mobile Dark Star (ATT) line to the Puli AX through the dashboard “Change Device” feature. Gave it the IMEI from, what I think is, the SIMPoyo card. The QR code read in fine, looked like the router connected to cellular, then got an email immediately following that the line was suspended due to unauthorized device (TOS violation). Very curious how anyone is achieving this feat with US Mobile.
Truely I find has unlimited and price better
Shouldn’t it have the “personality” of the phone it was activated in?
That’s the kind of clarification I'm looking for.
Do I transfer the eSIM with the iPhone's IMEI or do I have US Mobile regenerate the eSIM for the router’s IMEI?
I don’t understand how a sim can work in a device with the wrong IMEI. It seems to me that should cause any carrier to disable a device.
I am using a GL-X3000 with a EIOT eSIM using a profile from Airalo. I am not able to get past the “Connecting…” stage, profile was able to install correctly and tested the eSIM card on my phone which worked. Chatted with Airalo support and they said they do not support routers
Has anyone been able to make the Airalo eSIM work in Canada?
Hi Lobster4w,
First, please confirm the brand of your eSIM.
If it’s an early EIOTCLUB card, then it cannot download the US Mobile profile, this is certain, because that card’s software version has compatibility issues.
If it’s a SIMPoYo card, you can go ahead and try — it’s capable of downloading the US Mobile profile.
As for which IMEI to use, you can check directly with US Mobile.
Also, don’t worry about the return policy, even if you’ve opened the package, we still accept returns.
Can you give me this plan link, I want to check and test.
Can you download this profile to our physical sim card? do you try to modfiy the apn to test.
I have downloaded the profile to the EIOT physical eSIM card, I spoke with Airalo and they stated that the apn wbdata should be the only one to use. If there are others to try please let me know
Hi @Zig, I’m from Poland. EIOTCLUB eSIM is NOT working with Orange, Plus, T-Mobile.. But for Play should be OK.
I tested with Virgin Mobile (it use Play network) and is working OK. Internet speed is like in normal sim card. Transfer is working in GL.iNet router and in USB reader.
Hi Daniel2, we know the Airalo, They are working with Webbing, and the APN “wbdata” is Webbing’s dedicated APN.
We are also working with Webbing, and our devices support Webbing SIM cards.
Please share the device with our technical support, Cathy @Cathy . She will help you check the issue.
