Changing IP on Mudi V2

Hey, is there any way to change dynamic IP on Mudi V2 (without using any VPNs, proxy etc.) Without resetting the whole device (the process takes very long?)

Could you please clarify what you mean by "changing the dynamic IP"?

  • Outbound Internet IP: If you are referring to changing your public internet exit address, I am afraid this is likely impossible to achieve without using a VPN or a Proxy.
  • ISP Assignment: If your ISP provides you with CGNAT or a Dynamic Public IP address, the rotation of your outbound address is entirely controlled by the ISP.

Suggestion: You can try forcing a refresh by reconnecting the interface:

  1. Go to Admin Panel -> Internet.
  2. Click Disconnect.
  3. Click Connect again.

Some ISPs will automatically assign a new outbound address or dynamic public IP after a reconnection, but others may not (or it might require the modem to be off for a specific duration).
