I just got my Comet 5G and it is pretty awesome (just like the Comet pro but better!)
I setup my SIM card and it connects to the network no problem and I setup Netbird on my device to automatically connect via cellular, but I found that when I unplug the device, it loses the time and I can no longer connect to my control plane. I believe that this is because the time is not set when connected to cellular. It did not seem to have a problem setting the date when connected via wifi, but when just on cellular, it does not pull and set a date from the cell network.
I am currently getting around it by sending a command ntpdate -u pool.ntp.org from one of the init.d entries so that it will update the date when it is booting. If anyone has any other less sketch thoughts, or can show me how blind I am for missing the setting, I'm all ears.
Again, this seems to be just a strictly cellular connection, when I connect to any wifi, it will pull the date correctly without issue it seems.
