Comet PoE (GL-RM1PE) refuses to work

My Video card is ASUS ROG-MATRIX-RTX5090-P32G-30TH-GAMING 32GB… Not sure what to say…

Can I run this on Comet Pro (GL-RM10) too? If not, let me know what do I have to run and show you the results.

Any ideas are more than welcome, or I will have to return this item too :(((

However, considering you've already replaced two devices, I don't think it's an HDCP issue. The actual situation is that the KVM is simply receiving a black screen. I'm not sure what the problem is either.

Perhaps returning the item directly is the best choice.

I managed to make it work. Actually I finally figured out what is the trick with your devices from GL iNet :wink: My time spent, payed off in the end…

I like your products, really, quality made with quality materials like the JetKVM, and I might keep it.

Last test will be to compare Comet Pro (GL-RM10) with this one Amazon.de

One important quick recomandation from me if you can forward to management: can you use metal for casing like JetKVM does ?

The main consideration is that this product has Wi-Fi, so a metal casing is not suitable.

Right, like Comet PoE (GL-RM1PE) = no wifi. Well I never use wi-fi, I am a cable guy :upside_down_face:
I prefer GL-RM10 because is superiot to GL-RM1PE… so make one product in between! GL-RM10 with no wifi and metal casing, what do you say ?

All of a sudden, I can’t see the BIOS anymore, the keyboard works, but instead of images from BIOS, I see “no HDMI input” message. It used to work until yesterday, I tried everything, no luck. And this is indipendent from OS, like Widnows 11 in my case.

I followed the tutorial from your site, but no luck. Any idea ?

BIOS will only display on one screen. If you are not using a headless device, you must ensure that RM10 is set as the first-priority device. Otherwise, the BIOS screen will appear on your other displays.

So by headless you mean without connecting the monitor to the PC’s video card. OK, it works!!, but I want to have connected the monitor to the video card permanently, not to unplug and plug it each time I want to play games for e.g.

Anyways, frustrating is that it used to work and now not anymore, I did a factory reset, nothing…

I am controlling a desktop PC with a dedicated video. The videocard is connected to the monitor with a DisplayPort cable and the Comet is connected to the video card on the first HDMI port.

What am I missing? It’s basic setup I use…

The DP interface has higher priority than any HDMI interface, so you can connect your monitor to the second HDMI port, and then your BIOS screen will be displayed on the KVM.

As for an HDMI splitter, it has a notable issue: if your monitor's resolution or refresh rate exceeds that of the KVM, it will be limited to match the KVM's capabilities.
