By default, the device features failover capability for network connections and prioritizes wired connectivity as the highest-priority method. We are unlikely to support modifying this priority order since wired connections deliver significantly better performance than wireless for KVM products. Wireless is a backup for some condition where have difficulty to get a wired network.
I understand, but I was more asking for a toggle to this behaviour, it can be usefull in a situation when wire get unstable especially due to tricky home lab experiments, I normally don't use wifi by default.
I have had a couple of times these issues simply because of misconfigurations which trigger stp lockups or a poe switch which exceeded power, it could even be some kids or a cat pulling a cable
this is what I ment for redundancy it can be usefull.
Edit: nvm i think we mean the same no need for toggle then
What you're asking for might be difficult to implement. The logic for prioritizing which network to connect through comes from the underlying library, libnice. While we have indeed modified it to prioritize transmitting video over wired networks, it's challenging to provide a switch for toggling this behavior.
