Comet Pro Resolution Issue

I have a question about the EDID/output resolution on the Comet Pro. I’m finding with my laptop I control the mouse doesn’t line up because the resolution is 2880 × 1800 and the preset EDID options are 2560 x 1440. I have to use absolute mouse option to minimize latency.

The marketing/advertising says that it can do 4k at 30fps, but online docs conflict, saying it’s not possible to go above 2560 x 1440 (see screenshot below). Is there anything that can be done so I can get the benefit of the full resolution without messing up the mouse movement or is the only option to turn down the resolution on the laptop?

Under the condition of not exceeding 2560x1440 @ 60Hz, the frequency of 2880x1800 should not exceed 42Hz. Here is a 2880x1800 40Hz EDID that I have verified is available.Buddy, you can give it a try.

This worked! My only concern is that now it comes back as a generic CVT monitor and to make this undetected I think I need a brand name attached

I found some more EDID settings, but they didn't work well.
I modified the manufacturer information in the previous EDID you received based on the EDID of Samsung.Try this one to see if it meets your requirements.
