Hi everyone,
I've purchased the GL.iNet MT2500A (Brume 2) and would like to configure as an external VPN (hide/protect the traffic) to my existing Fritz!Box (my ISP router). I'm not looking on how to create an access from the outside.
If I understood correctly, the correct features to activate are
- activate the "Drop-In gateway"
- activate the DHCP feature
- deactivate the DHCP feature on my router.
After rebooting the 2 devices, my router lost access to internet. And when I reactivated the Fritz!Box DHCP feature, Internet came back.
I tried many different things but I'm stuck here. Anyone has an idea?

What Fritz!Box and what ISP do you use?
Disabling DHCP should only affect the LAN. Don't Disable DHCP on WAN side, if there is even some option for that.

Fritz!box: 7530 AX
ISP: 1&1
I tried disabling it on the ipv4 section
Should it be done differently?

Nope, seems to be the right place.
Will the Fritz!Box itself tell you that there is no internet connection then?

Well good news, when trying to replicate the behavior, it started to work.
It seems like the DSL connection takes a bit longer to initialize when having the drop-in gateway feature activated.
Anyway, thanks for the support!
