connecting a kiwiSDR and thinkcentre m910 without wi-fi to the internet using a GL-300N-V2

Hello Group!
I have been able to connect to the internet with a ThinkCentre m910 (without any internal wi-fi hardware) using a GL-300N-V2 (GL) configured as a 'repeater' .The ethernet port on the ThinkCentre m910 is connected to the GL "LAN" port.

HOW do I also connect a kiwiSDR's ethernet port to the GL and set up all the GL parameters so the kiwiSDR is recognized by the GL and ThinkCentre m910 software application and data forwarded thru the main house router that 'sees' the GL unit?

Does something like a "Smart Switch" fit in here?

CHATgpt has sent me down rat-holes that do not work !

Help will be greatly appreciated!

What are the issues you have encountered about the connection of kiwiSDR?
Can kiwiSDR connect to the Internet after it is connected to MT300N-v2?

Please draw a simple network topology and mark the network mode, interfaces, and subnet/IPs.

  • ThinkCentre m910 (without wi-fi installed)

  • GL-300N-V2 ===> Mango

I have tried the following:

1 - The Thinkcentre m910 ethernet-port connects to the Mango LAN-port via ethernet cable. Connection to Mango at 192.168.8.1 works fine

2 - Mango setup to set up as a repeater and to interface with home main router

3 - Thinkcentre now connects to the internet OK

4 - connect kiwiSDR ethernet-port to Mango WAN port via ethernet-cable

Then I tried Mango**/**kiwiSDR these connections:

1 - kiwi -mini-USB-port connects to the Mango USB port

2 - kiwi USB-port connects to MangoPower-port

3 - kiwi ethernet port connects to Mango WAN port

4 - again, Mango LAN port connects to the Thinkcentre ethernet port

Then with the Thinkcentre m910 ethernet-port connected to the Mango LAN-portI, I tried connecting the kiwi ethernet-port to the Mango WAN-port and powering it up.

Then waited for the Mango to give an address to the kiwiSDR. Finally the kiwiSDR

announced address to be 169.254.32.105

Then looking at the Mango "Clients" display I see an address 192.168.8.124 which

does not match what the kiwiSDR reports as its address.

I'm stuck !

It sounds like you’d like to connect your ThinkCentre M910 and KiwiSDR to the Mango’s LAN network. Are we understand correctly?

If so, please change the Mango’s WAN port to LAN port as shown in the picture below:
