Hi, I got myself a Beryl (GL-MT1300), and just finished setting it up.

I’m mostly happy, but my switch doesn’t find the network even when it’s set to open with the SSID visible - nor does it connect when setting up the network manually. Flipping the wifi mode switches doesn’t change this either.

Oddly it seems I do get its mac listed under the “clients” section.

I have absolutely no idea what might be going wrong here. My phone connects fine.

Any ideas?

Right, quite some debugging later, it turns out at least some switches don’t support higher channels, presumably laws in Japan are different.

I’m not personally in Japan, the device just seems to be manufactured differently :slight_smile:
