Connecting external USB Deviced - High Power

Hi Guys,

I’m trying to connect a USB WiFi device to my GL-AR300M and I think it may be too high power.

I’ve put the router into a 240v socket with a high output charger but it still seems to not be working. Does anyone have any advice on the output device of the router and how high of a power it can handle?

I use a powered hub for external antennas. Two advantages are that you are not running the extra power through the router use, and the heat from the high powered devices stays further away from the router as well. I have a couple of Alfa adapters that use that way
