Control the Beryl AX and Flint 2 remotely?

How do I control these routers remotely if I'm not home? Currently, I can only use 192.168.8.1 when I'm at home and connected to the Beryl AX. Even the GL.iNet app doesn't seem to work when I'm not connected to the Beryl AX. I want to be able to access the GL.iNet GUI and maybe even reboot the router if I'm on vacation and someone at home can't troubleshoot.

WireGuard Server or TailScale.

Personally I would like to recommand solution 2, via the RTTY feature of GoodCloud.

How do I do that?

This is the detailed guide.
GoodCloud - GL.iNet Router Docs 4

Firstly register your GoodCloud account and bind the device to it.
Then you shall access its web panel or ssh terminal as it has Internet access.

Be aware using GL.iNet's 'GoodCloud' service won't work if/when you flash pure OWRT. You will be making yourself dependent on propriety 'cloud services'. TailScale would be a better option in that regard. The best would be to use WG Server with its post-quantum proof encryption/ciphers via PSK (pre-shared keys) + a third party DDNS provider (via luci-app-ddns) so you're not locked to any one DDNS provider. Make sure any DDNS updates are being sent over HTTP/S. This HOWTO for No-IP doesn't reflect that but the rest seems pretty good.

Remember: the 'cloud' is just someone else's computer(s). Just say no.

Third-party DDNS provider? Examples.
