Creta GL-AR750 in AP Mode no acess to subnet neighbour

Hi everyone,

Stange behavior of my Creta router after updating the firmware to 4.3.25.
I’m using the router as simple and small wifi AP + switch for two LAN devices.
LAN device 1 (ip xxx.xxx.x.110) is a raspberry pi I use mainly for a connected touch-display in kiosk mode.
LAN device 2 (ip .100) is a headless Pool controller with a Webserver for setup, control and display.

I intend (and it worked before!) to control the poolcontroller via the raspi and the connected touch display.

While I can access both devices as well as the Creta router (.40) itself from anywhere in the network, I fail to access device 2 from device 1.
it does not even answer a ping.

Any idea what could wrong here?

Thanks in advance and best regards!

What is your network connection topology? Is the AR750 connected to the Creta router as a client, and then the two LAN devices are connected to the AR750 via Ethernet?

  1. Please confirm if there are access restrictions in the router firewall rules, or manually add rules to allow mutual access.
  2. Confirm that the two devices are in the same subnet, and check if the IP addresses, subnet masks, and gateways are correct.
  3. You can use traceroute on the Raspberry Pi side to find the breakpoint.
