Deleted Tailscale from Flint, can't find it

Had some issues with Tailscale and wanted to start afresh, without factory resetting the whole router, so I got ride of 2 tail scale packages that were installed (gl-sdk4-tailscale and something similar to that, but with UI in the name), thinking I could reinstall them.

However, after rebooting the router, I could not find either package in the Application >Plug-ins section. I do see tailscale and tailscaled, but neither were installed prior. On a whim, I tried to install tailscaled, but that did nothing (I think), since Tailscale does not show up under Applications anymore.

Is my only course of action a factory reset of the router and setting it back up from scratch?

Since you removed the GUI package for Tailscale it won't come back without reinstalling the GUI package. As far as I know, it's not inside the repo, so I would guess resetting the router is the only thing you can do.

But you can back up the settings before, so it should be smooth.

Yep, via luci will create an archive containing all config files.

Thanks! Factory reset the router resolved the issued.

Surprised that the GUI is not in the repo, wonder why.
