I have a GL-BE9300 as main router with a GL-AXT1800 as an Access Point. Is there a way to determine which GL device a specific laptop or Phone is connected to? I know the MAC address of the device. I am trying to verify if I have the Access Point set up correctly.
In the router’s Client interface, you can view all wireless clients connected to that router or AP.
Please note the small icon to the left of each IP address — it indicates whether the device is connected via Wi-Fi or Ethernet.
If you’re checking from the client side, you can use some commands or a Wi-Fi Analyzer tool to view the BSSID of the Wi-Fi network you’re connected to.
Compare this value with the router/AP’s BSSID to confirm which device you are actually connected to.
