DFS channels don't work on Slate AX ( AXT1800 )

I live in US and there are only 2 Wifi Access Points in my area that are using channel 100.

Ive tried other DFS channels, but the router will revert to Auto, Channel 36. Running latest firmware 4.6.8.

How do I fix this issue so I can use DFS channels?

Do you live near an airport or military base?

Your router will automatically leave the DFS range if another signal (like radar) is detected.

No airports or military bases and no automatic doors.

After looking around the forum, there seems to be an exact issue with its Bigger brother Flint 2 and it was solved in OpenWrt 24.

it's very possible it's picking up something, anything, on those channels and thinks it's radar when it's not. Maybe a bug?

One of my neighbors is using channel 100 for wifi, but its a Verizon router/access point.
