Does MT300N-V2 work OpenWrt and Luci? URGENT Please

Greetings,

We are currently using the MT300N-V1. We have about 75 units working perfectly with OpenWrt 15.05, with LuCi 15.05 branch.

It is crucial we keep using LuCi. Can you please advise is the new MT300N-V2 works with OpenWrt, Luci? We need

place large order on amazon, but I need to know if it will continue to work? What version will I need? I will order one unit to test.

All the firmware here is still based on a version of OpenWrt 15.05, but I do not know which one.

Luci is included on both the Gl.inet v1 (v1 folder for the v2 device) and the “clean” versions. You should find a link in the upper right hand corner of the GL.inet gui which will open Luci. The version info will be at the bottom.

MT300N-V2 is using LEDE 1701 and it has Luci as well.

Your old firmware for MT300N-V1 doesn’t work on V2. You need a new firmware.

Thanks for the response.

At this time we do a factory reset on V1 of the MT-300n, then we load Luci.

So basically, leave the firmware alone, just load luci…is this correct?

No, Luci is already inlcuded.

Question, is the performance better than V1? By how much would you say? Wifi aspect.

It has double RAM and cpu is slightly faster. WiFi speed is improved as well.
