Does the new Simpoyo Physical eSIM work with GigSky?

Hi there, I have a Mudi V2 and am about to go on a cruise. I have used the GigSky Cellular at Sea service before on my eSIM-enabled iPhone, however when I tried to get it to work on an eSIM physical sim adapter (5ber) it would not activate.

GigSky themselves have updated their FAQs to say that the eSIM might not work on eSIM physical sims and GL-iNet portable routers (https://support.gigsky.com/hc/en-us/articles/7343903074578-Which-mobile-devices-are-eSIM-compatible) however is it possible to support this with the new Simpoyo eSIM card?

Has anyone with the new Simpoyo eSIM tried this on the Mudi V2?

I'm sorry we haven't tested Gigsky esim either. We cannot guarantee it works with GL.iNet esim physical card.

I ended up buying an EIOT Physical eSIM instead, and with a bit of fiddling and thanks to this post Mudi V2 and eSim EIOT - sim not registered - #28 by ChuckL have managed to get it connected to GigSky Asia-Pacific Land + Cruise (whilst on land)

Will see if it connects to Cellular-at-Sea when I am on my cruise; for reference I tried connecting last year using a 5ber Physical eSIM (to an Android phone not Mudi) and it did not work at all so am already one step ahead of last year now I’ve got it connected!

Update: Tried connecting Mudi V2 with EIOT physical eSIM to GigSky Cellular-at-Sea with mixed results. Connected OK with QMI protocol and APN “gigsky” however the connection was extremely unstable and kept disconnecting/reconnecting to the point of being unusable. Not sure if it was a result of the coastal Australia connection being rather spotty but tried all combinations of settings and made no difference.

Ended up taking the EIOT SIM card out of the Mudi V2 and putting it directly into a Motorola phone and it worked perfectly with no dropouts.

@siwotravels What’s the APN used by the Motorola phone? If issue persists, please export the system log from Mudi's admin panel ->SYSTEM ->Log page and send to us to check.
Thanks!
